Dude no shit you made those? When I saw the pic I was like yeah anyone can cut/paste some guns together like that big deal. Anyway that's a badass job on those. 3d Max you say? is that a tough program to learn to use?

Well it's pretty hard to use, yes. The first time you use it, you're happy because you can make 3D boxes, spheres and donuts. :)
But there're tons of tutorials if you search on the net.
