Some screenshots of my Pyramid Head. Done with 3DS Max 2009. 2662 polygons, between 6 and 7 hours of work. All the textures are taken from the original game (Silent Hill 2). I just edited a bit with photoshop for the helmet.
wow , you modelled it perfectly o_O where did you find the actual textures? also...I thought he wore a buther's smock/apron, but...now it looks more like a sack he's wearing. is it...? o__o that seems more creepier now.
Thanks. Never heard about it? Strange, Max and Maya are the 2 most used 3D softwares in the world. They are both made by the same campany, Autodesk. They doesn't work in the same way, I never used Maya but I know both are good and different.

Though in light of the 'advanced critique' and my own curiosity...: did you consciously decide on the four separate fingers (when in the game he had his middle & ring finger combined on the glove (and Valtiel in SH3 made it seem it was done consciously like a sort of style and not just a way of saving on polygons ))? But still... great job!
Thank you! Well, I based myself on the picture "Day of Judgement" ([link]) for making the model, and he seems to have the two fingers separeted... But it's true that Valtiel has that special glove. I didn't think about that. Well, James did PH with "Day of Judgement" too, so we can think that PH has his 5 fingers ^^
You're welcome... and that's a good explanation Indeed in the Day of Judgement it seems disputable whether the fingers are separate, too... now I'm wondering what his hands/gloves are like in the new game Though that is the one confirming PH's appearance is based in the observer's mind/eye... and if you observe him as having 5 separate fingers, then it all checks out
